Steady Day for Incidents

April 09

Today staff and volunteers handled a total of 5 fire calls and 1 EMS call throughout the day.

It started with a leaking propane tank at a business which was secured to properly be emptied, followed immediately by a fire alarm being activated due to a malicious pull on the other side of town. Staff took advantage of the beautiful weather with some rope rescue training. Staff reviewed the basics then built rope systems simulating bringing a victim up from a below grade space. Department Operates on Kitchen Fire

March 01

At 16:48 on 03/01/2024 Warrington and Horsham units were dispatched to a residence on Creekside Ct for a reported fire that was extinguished. BC78-1 arrived and confirmed fire damage and a sprinkler activation. Neshaminy Manor Nursing Home Incident

February 29

At 08:37 on 02/29/24 departments were dispatched for a Nursing Home Fire. Notes reported a transformer blew in the boiler room with a smoke condition. Rescue 78, Engine 19 and Battalion 78 arrived on scene at the same time and found maintenance reporting an electrical problem. Garage Fire

February 18

At 2321 hours, Warrington Fire Company, as well as mutual aid companies, responded on Tactical Box 78-54 for multiple reports of a house on fire. E29 arrived on scene, and reported a 25x75 detached garage that was fully involved. E29 secured a water supply and led off with a blitzfire, as well as a 300’ 1 3/4” handline to protect the exposure. Early this morning, Warrington units along with mutual aid companies were dispatched to a reported Dwelling Fire on the 2500 block of County Line Road.
