ENGINE 29

Engine 29 is a Pierce. It seats 8 frefighters. Engine 29 is stationed at Station 29. This apparatus primarily funcitons for fire suppression needs, and is the first out apparatus at night and on weekends in the lower end of town. Engine 29 has multiple diffrent sized hoses, and adapters, along with a variety of nozzles. Engine 29 also carries a Holmatro combination tool, hose, and generator for assisting at vehicle rescues or opening cars on vehicle fires. Also equipmented with cribbing, and oil dry the Engine can start working on an accident scenes before a rescue truck arrives.

LADDER 29

Ladder 29 is a E-ONE fire apparatus. The truck seats a total of 8 firefighters. The ladder is the first out truck druing the day M-F during career staff hours, and 2nd out at night and on weekends. Ladder 29 also responds as a mutual aid piece to surrounding municipalities including Doylestown, Warwick, Warminster,, Horsham, and Montgomery. The main ladder is 100ft in length and is equiped with multiple ground ladders accessed through the rear compartment. A Holmatro combinaiton tool, hose and generator is also on the apparatus to assist at vehcile rescues or RIT situations. Other equipment includes Ropes/Rigging, apparartment Packs, gas meter, thermal imaging camera, stokes basket, multiple saws, multiple hooks.
Ladder 29 will be replaced soon. Members of the apparatus commitee recently made a trip to Clintonville Wissconsin to visit Seasgrave Fire Apparatus on the planning of what will be the new TOWER 29. Tower 29 will be a Seagrave Marauder Chasis with a 95 foot mid mount platform tower ladder with a pump and 300 gallons of water.

Rescue 29

Rescue 29 is Salusbury Rescue apparatus. The trucks primary function is responding to rescue and haz mat incidents. The truck seats 8 people. Fully equiped with Holmatro rescue tools, full compliment of ropes/rigging equipment,
Rescue 78

Rescue 78 is stationed at Station 78 on Pickertown Rd. It is a 2015 Pierce Velocity that seats 6 firefighters. Rescue 78 is the primary vehicle the career staff use for day-to-day operations. It is equipped with 1000 gallons of water controlled by a PUC pump. It is equipped with Holmatro rescue tools including a combination tool, two cutters, spreaders, two rams, two generators, and multiple hoses. The truck is also equipped with Paratech rescue tools including Gold Struts, Grey Struts, Hydrafusion lifting struts, maxiforce airbag, and a variety of other sized airbags. Also carried is a full rope compliment, forestry line, chains, 2 saws, thermal imaging camera, gas meters, and a variety of hand tools.
Rescue 78 is also the only licensed Advanced Life Support (ALS) Squad Fire truck in Bucks County. Staffed with at least one paramedic as part of the crew, lifesaving procedures can be performed prior to or in conjunction with the ambulance arriving on scene. ALS equipment carried includes a Lifepak15 cardiac monitor, intubation kit, oxygen with CPAP capabilities, IV supplies, and a variety of medications. Rescue 78 also holds an "expert" recognition with PA Prepared for Pediatrics which shows that the staff has training specific to pediatrics, and increased supplies to treat them.
